studied Industrial Arts at Humboldt State University with an emphasis in woodworking, furniture and construction. She also studied drawing, watercolor and oil painting and ceramics. She began her career in metalwork as a fabricator and was immediately drawn to the traditional methods of shaping and joinery found in blacksmithing. Coupling these methods with contemporary design has become her passion.
